Satya Nadella

Satya Nadella became Microsoft CEO in 2014. He originally joined the company in 1992 after a short stint at Sun Microsystems. He was born in Hyderabad, India.

Prior to becoming CEO, Nadella was leader of Microsoft's Servers and Tools division, which included the Azure cloud platform that has since become Microsoft's most lucrative business.

As CEO, Nadella has overseen the expansion and success of Microsoft's cloud services, and has pushed the company to invest heavily in AI. In 2018, Microsoft became the most valuable company in the world, surpassing Apple for the first time since 2010.
